AI Sidekick, operated by Lunera AI Solutions FZC (WadZar AI Solutions), is built for children aged 6 to 10.
We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form, including grooming, sextortion, sexualisation
of minors, and the creation, sharing or solicitation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any attempt to use the
app for these purposes results in immediate termination and, where required, a report to the U.S. National Center
for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant authority in your country.
How the app is designed to keep children safe
No contact with other people. Children only ever talk to Sidekick, an AI. There is no chat
between users, no friend lists, no sharing, and no way for a stranger to contact a child through the app.
Sidekick says it is an AI during setup and on every chat screen, and reminds children to take
breaks.
Input filtering blocks common patterns of personal information (phone numbers, addresses,
emails) before a message leaves the device, and the AI is instructed never to ask for them.
Automated moderation checks every message with OpenAI's moderation service using thresholds
tuned for a children's product. Flagged messages get a neutral redirect instead of a reply.
Output filtering checks every reply before it is shown or spoken.
Crisis response. If a child indicates they may hurt themselves or that someone is hurting them,
Sidekick responds with a fixed, reviewed message encouraging them to talk to a trusted grown-up, and the parent
receives an alert in the parent dashboard.
Parental controls. Parents create and manage profiles, set daily time limits, review
conversations, summaries and alerts, and can delete anything at any time.
Reporting
In the app: long-press or tap the flag on any reply to report it, or use Settings → Send
feedback. Reports are stored with the reply text and reviewed by us.
We acknowledge child-safety reports within 2 business days and act on confirmed CSAE within 24 hours of
obtaining actual knowledge, including removing content, terminating accounts, preserving evidence and reporting
to NCMEC or the competent authority.
We comply with applicable child-safety laws, including mandatory reporting obligations, and with the Google Play
Families and Child Safety Standards policies.
